About Level Up

Built for kids who want more

Level Up Dance & Acro teaches dance and acrobatics to children and teenagers in Dublin and Gorey, Co. Wexford. Beginners are welcome, and dancers who want to compete have a clear path to get there.

Who we are

A dance and acro school with a plan

We run 22 classes a week, Monday to Friday, across three venues: Belgard Community Centre and Monica Loughman Ballet Studio in Dublin, and Tara Rock Community Centre in Gorey. Classes run from Minis for ages 5 to 7 through to senior acrobatics, ballet, hip hop and competition training.

Founded by Elaine, Level Up Dance & Acro is built on over 10 years of experience and a genuine passion for dance and teaching. Her vision is to create a positive, supportive environment where every child can develop their skills, build confidence and reach their full potential. Above all, Elaine loves helping children grow, believe in themselves and achieve things they never thought possible.

Our approach

How we train

Dance and acrobatics work best together. Dance gives acro its flow and musicality; acro gives dance power and wow. We teach both, in the right order, with strength work underneath.

Technique before tricks

Posture, flexibility and control come first. Skills learned on good foundations look better and last longer.

Step-by-step skills

Every acrobatic skill is broken into stages. Students move on when they’re ready, not when the calendar says so.

Strength underneath

Strength and conditioning prepares joints and muscles for flips, holds and landings, and helps prevent injury.

Performance builds confidence

Routines, showcases and competitions give students goals to work toward and the experience of performing for an audience.

Our values

What we stand for

Effort counts

We celebrate the work as much as the result. Turning up and trying is how every level is reached.

Safety first

Proper progressions, careful spotting and honest decisions about when a student is ready.

Everyone belongs

Beginners and competition dancers train in the same school and support each other.

Enjoy it

Training is hard work, and it should still be the best part of a child’s week.

Level Up principle #2

Great dancers are shaped by great coaching.

Where we’re going

The next level

We want Level Up to be the name Irish parents think of for dance and acrobatics: more classes, more venues, and a competition team that represents Dublin and Wexford with pride.

Whatever level a child starts at, our aim stays the same: leave every class a little stronger, a little braver and a little more confident than they arrived.

Ready when you are

Every class is a level up

Book a trial class and see where your child fits. Tell us their age and experience and we’ll suggest the right group.
